Burnt Toes
After office hours today I played so much that my toes got burnt from the fiction on the carpet. Probably because its been so long I have strained them so much.
I’ve got not much response for the long list of issues I have found in glibc localedata for Indian languages. Probably I have stupidly made the mail very very long that nobody was really intrested in reading it. I had not much choice since they were so many in number and I had to give some justification to everything I say. Anycase I am going to make a patch for atleast Telugu locale and put it on the bugzilla and let the further discussion happen there.
I have quickly setup Telugu-Hindi anusAraka. I also went through the structure of Telugu-Hindi anusAraka and lost hopes of getting it into Rangoli on time. It will take quite a bit of work to provide unicode support and make it a proper package. Also thinking if having a public translation server with the new unicode interface to it.
My First Blog
This is my first blog! I was first inspired by my dear friend Thiyagarajan who told me what a blog was. This was long ago and since then I wanted to have my own blog. I was far too lazy. Then Prasad
gave me the final kick by setting up the page and doing some nice
blogging himself. So first things first - thank you Rajan and Prasad.
Talking
about me, all I want to do in life for now is to contribute to the
society (rest of the details are unimportant). I am working on Indian
Language Computing showing special focus to Telugu. I hope to do work
that would positively effect a lot of people in my state and country. I
have started only a few days back and I don’t know if I can make a
difference. I think I can. Lets see.
